Horizon Organic’s first national print campaign made a splash in pubs such as Better Homes and Gardens, People and Martha Stewart Living. As Creative Director and writer, Marie developed the brand strategy by taking advantage of Horizon’s strongest equities—the red color, the happy cow—and spinning those with a positive message directed at moms. This highly successful campaign made the Horizon Organic brand instantly recognizable in the dairy case. For Sterling-Rice Group, Marie’s creative and strategic efforts grew Horizon Organic from a simple direct mail project into a half-million-dollar account.
